Program:
Brighter Futures Foster Care has designed a program to be client-specific, focusing on the child/youth’s direct needs, to target behaviours that require modification, allowing for an increase in desired behaviour and a decrease in undesired behaviours. Once stabilizing their behaviours, BFFC then transition the focus from behaviour stabilization to skills development that provide assistance to help with emotion regulation, life skills enhancement, preparing them for the future ahead, and overall enhancing their quality of life.
BFFC’s evidence-based life skills program supports enhancing their overall quality of life, but assesses their current skill level and develops a program that addresses gaps or areas where there is a significant decline in skills and support in strengthening and improving their overall skills to help increase their high quality of life.
